Useful tips for daily life

1. Have the children created ink marks on the wall? Don't worry, using a toothbrush and toothpaste as we do while brushing our teeth, can remove these dirty marks.


2. Has the knife got rusted(corroded)? Apply vinegar. Leave it for 15 minutes. Later, clean and wash with water thoroughly. The knife will be as it was before. To cut vegetables, good quality stainless steel knives are available in the market. They never get rusted.

3. Has the inner side of the cooker turned black? Then fill 3/4 portion of cooker with water. Squeeze a lemon into it and boil the water. The inner portion will shine and look like a new one. Even when the vegetables are boiled in the cooker, the lemon juice can be poured into the water to get this effect gradually.

4. To avoid a chappal bite, use a bath soap and rub it to the inner side of chappals, before 4 hours of wearing them. If water is used while applying the soap it gives better results. This can be repeated 3 times to get rid of a chappal bite.

5. Add salt while boiling the potatoes. This does not distort the shape of the boiled potatoes.

6. If the vegetable, radish placed in a refrigerator gives out bad odour and spreads to other things placed nearby it, then remove the leafy portion in it. And once again place it into the fridge. Now, there won't be any kind of a bad odour like before.

7. For the pickles placed in a jar to last longer, put a fistful of mustard seeds in a piece of muslin cloth. Tie it and place it within the jar. Now, close the lid or cork tightly so that air doen't enter. Pickles will last for a very long time.

8. If there isn't any curd for souring the milk, then put a green chilli into the hot boiled milk. Place it aside and leave it with the vessel lid closed for 5 hours. Curds will be ready for use after 5 hours.

9. To the water in the vessel used for adding sliced raw bananas or pieces of brinjal, pour a teaspoon full of curds or butter milk. This prevents the pieces from turning into blackish color. And if a pinch of slacked lime is added to the same water we can get rid of worms in the vegetable pieces.

10. While the Paneer masala is boiling add thinly sliced or scraped beetroot. This not only gives good color to the Paneer masala dish but also gives us the necessary nutrients.

11. If you don't have to add onion or garlic, the masala paste to be prepared becomes thin. So, to make it thicker, add pieces of bread and tomato to the masala preparation. This makes the masala thicker.
